Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By downloading, installing, or using any PANTERASoft software, or by using this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the software or this website.

2. Software license

Upon purchasing a PANTERASoft product, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to install and use the software on one computer (single-user license). You may not:

  • Copy, distribute, or sublicense the software to third parties
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software
  • Rent, lease, or lend the software
  • Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels

Free products (e.g., Hard Disk Checker) are licensed under the same single-user terms at no charge.

3. Trial versions

Trial versions of paid products may be downloaded free of charge for evaluation purposes. Trial versions may have limited functionality (e.g., maximum number of files recovered). Purchase a full license to unlock all features.

4. Refund policy

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on all paid products. If you are not satisfied for any reason, contact us within 30 days of purchase and we will issue a full refund. Refunds are processed through the original payment processor and may take 5–10 business days to appear.

5. License key delivery

License keys are delivered by email after purchase. If you do not receive your key within 24 hours, check your spam folder, then contact us. We are not responsible for delays caused by spam filters or incorrect email addresses provided at checkout.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NONINFRINGEMENT. PANTERASoft does not warrant that the software will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that it will recover any specific files or data.

Data recovery software operates on damaged or formatted storage media. Results depend on the extent of damage and whether the data has been overwritten. We strongly recommend testing recovery on non-critical data before relying on it for important files.

7. Limitation of liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL PANTERASoft BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES (INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, LOSS OF DATA, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, OR LOSS OF PROFITS) ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SOFTWARE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or the software shall not exceed the amount you paid for the product in question.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by applicable law. Any dispute shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of the jurisdiction where PANTERASoft operates.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date at the top will be updated accordingly. Continued use of the software or website after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
